Hi All, im after an new e3 clubby, white, 20inch gloss black rims manual, auto havent decided yet, what kind of $$ do you think i should pay, no sunroof or extras, just a stock white clubby.

They offered me 40k change over for my 10/08 ve ssv ute with 13,xxx km on the clock, showroom condition with brembo front & rear & 20 inch vertini black magic rims.

Any help appreciated.

My MY09 ssv with a worked motor & other bits(26k on the clock) was 35k change over for a brand new 11' clubby with leather n 20's with manual, so your deal doesnt sound too bad but shop around at dealers as its a buyer's market out there atm. :)

If they offered you 40k for a 2010 Ute you can be sure they of would of been taking that off a full list price Clubby. Forget about trade in prices etc, concentrate on the final figure you're giving them and if that suits you thats what it's worth. Just go to as many places you can and don't rush.

Sorry i've got no figure for you but.

29k is not bad at all for your 08, I sold my 09 SS Ute with the usual bolt on mods for 32k in 2010 mind you I did have 30,000k's on the clock.

There is new MY12 in melb with 20's & leather for $60k list price, so you would most likey get for it for less, if you can still find a new MY11 they would be going for much less.

Weird, ad doesn't mention 20's, no photos of them, nor are they listed as supplied with them, yet it has a 20" spare according to HSV:

ISOVIN 6G1EX5EW0CL645564
COLOUR Perfect Blue [824T]
MODEL VE3-R8M-1 TRIM INTERIOR TRIM ONYX [4BB ]
TAG L645564
OPTIONS Black 20 Temporary Spare Whee [SBTS]

It has the red checkered badge on the back which "usually" signifies leather & 20's, the badge is fitted if you have one or more of the SV options ie: leather, 20's, bi-modal or SV enhanced suspension. But sometimes the pictures that are displayed are of a different vehicle so you might have to check with the dealer if this particular vehicle has 20's.

I am also suspecting it might be a MY11 not a MY12, the link in my post says 2011 but the ad say 2012.

I've been tracking LS3 HSVs for a while just in case I get a bit of money come my way and there are occasionally new Clubbies for around the 60k mark advertised. That's with stock rims. Are the gloss black rims you want the SV alloys? If so add a few thousand to that price for those. Being a fan of white I've also noticed the white Clubbies tend to be a little more expensive usually, possibly because they're not such a hard colour to move.

If you can be bothered with the hassle you will always do much better selling privately rather than trading. :yup:

Plug the VIN number in, 20's not listed as an option. Hence I said weird that it has a 20" spare. So perhaps the dealer had some 20's lying around and placed order acordingly.

The trade in seems reasonable given it is an 08, the Km's might be extremely low but it is 4 years old. For $40K changeover then that's $69K for the car. I guess if it's an R8 there is some discounts off full RRP as HSV have a new non R8 on their website at $65K driveaway. I don't know what an R8 should be, but I'm guessing the difference is more than $4K.

Went to the dealers today, i can have a black 12/11 manual r8 with leather & 20's 0k's for 61k drive away, or a white xx/2012 for 20's & leather 66k drive away, offering 38k changeover, im thinking of selling my front & rear brembo package & 20 inch vertini black magic separately.

Thanks for all the responses, keep em comming.

This VIN lookup isnt always entirely accurate... reckons mine came with an onyx interior but infact it came with redhot leather.
