For Sale 4L80e Conversion
Are you sick of rebuilding your 4L60e ? Have you used a so called 1000hp rebuilt box and found it blew up at only 500hp and wasted $3500 for nothing each time ?
I know because I blew 2 boxes , This is the best solution .
For those that don't know what a 4L80e is .
Its a 4 speed Auto box based on the Turbo400 with an overdrive . Perfect for any serious Street or track car . In standard form they are known to hold easy 600+ hp ,
My box is capable of holding an easy 1400+ hp with out a sweat . Was perfect for my 408 Twin Turbo ,
This is the complete bolt on conversion , Not just a box .
Its a Craigs built box with billet shafts and Billet Forward Drum and 36 Sprag plantery ? what ever that is .
High Capacity Alloy Finned Oil Pan ,
I have the custom built tubular steel crossmember with Supapro Trans mount or Standard rubber you choose what you want . and the plug and play wirring to suit , Ie: No need to stuff around with segment swaps to controll the box , I use a standard 4L60e program I already have .or cut into original wirring .
Billet Steel TCI Unbreakable Flexplate .
Custom Dominator 3000rpm High Stall Converter to suit .
Custom Braided cooler lines with -8 AN Fittings into the biggest B&M Suppercooler oil cooler they make .
Also have the custom built Diff Techinics Tailshaft , 2 piece with alloy steel donuts and Forged steel universals , This alone owes me $1600 .
I'm after $6500 ono . for the lot and its done less then 6'000 ks and is still under warranty from Craigs Autos ,
Call Craig and ask about the 4L80e Box they did for S&S Racing last year and they will confirm what work they did to this box .
