There is another similar post on here already, but basically I'm trying to find the paint code or this tungsten colour.

The paint code on the hsv plate says XXJ4B but according to a few paint places this colour is the grey/silver colour on the inserts of the front and rear spoilers, not the body itself. They don't even have a listing for a champaign colour hsv for this model.

Can anyone help please?

I think 69terra69 is correct.

That code in our AkzoNobel system comes up with

Holden Motor Co.
Tungsten P.2c
Grey, 1997-2003

Thanks guys I'll take that code to the paint place here on the gold coast.
Maybe in the tin it does look silver until it drys and gets the sun on it?

Anyone know if the side mirrors can be removed easily for painting? It looks like there is a key hole in the back if you rotate them around. I'm trolling through threads now and it looks like I might have to pull trims out and start from the inside to get the mirrors off??
Cheers

Yes the side mirrors are easily removed, and yes you have to remove the door card. Once you have that off all will be revealed.

When you take the door card off there is a screw that holds it onto the inside of the door in behind the inside door handle escutcheon
which is hard to find if you have not removed a door card on one of these before.
The bugger got me the first time I removed one, you think when you remove the inside door handle there would not be any more screws in there
but this little sucker can be a trick. Easy when you know it is there.

Yep, I missed that one behind the handle and the one behind the door lock on my first attempt at removing the door card to replace the white plastic nutrigrain clips in the window runners. Got on here and found good instructions on removing the door cards somewhere in the Audio forum
