Yeah they been advertised at that price for a while now, before that they were $41,990. I don't know if they are readily available at that price. They were also adverting SV6 for $34,990 before the .5% finance promo. Not bad value really considering Mazda6 and Honda Accord Euro, Sube Liberty are about $34,000 for a 4 cyl FWD.

$40,990 only available for MY12 White Holden SS Commodore purchased and delivered before the end of September.

Does not include premium paint and is for a manual.

Premium paint and Automatic at extra cost. We have a few in stock.

Looking forward to seeing our first VF in the new year also. :)

Just remember people. The internet is your friend when it comes to price.

Do your homework before walking into a dealership. There are heaps of things to consider before trying to negotiate with a sales person at a dealership.

I think you'll find they will go down a little, but not by that much. There are still a lot of VE fan's out there. Holden might just wait for them to afford the cars and keep them on their floor until sold.

I cold be wrong though ;)

Cheers, Mick

New VE runs must be finishing up soon to. I doubt you'll be able to buy a new one next year, just clearing stock and 2012 plates.

I paid $35k driveaway (without a trade-in) for a new manual MY2010 SS Ute at the end of 2010 as the new Series II was being released.

The only thing I needed to do was add comprehensive insurance, that cost me another $750.

I know Utes are a bit cheaper than a sedan but I still see Utes today second hand on the Central Coast with 20,000 plus Kilometres for more than I paid in Sydney (Heartland) for mine.

Bargains are out there if you show them you have the cash to do the deal right now.

They originally offered it for $38 and I said I wouldn’t consider anything over $35.
They rang me with the $35 price as I drove out of the car park and the deal was done.

Anyone taking on a new purchase with the VF on its way would be mad unless they can get the outgoing model for a song.
