Anyone know the real story with the rock?

I heard someone came forward a few years ago and said it was an accident - as they were scrambling along the bank to get a better vantage point of an accident, they dis-lodged the rock.
Johnson then came around the corner flat tack and had the tow truck, wrecked car and the rock to choose from .... he chose the rock.
They were fans of his and were afraid to come forward till all those years later.

Yeah I agree JT
Funny enough, seen him interviewed and he said that the episode with the rock brought a turning point to his career
with all the support from his fans, sponsorship and donations he got out of it.

really cant compare the old cars to the new ones. while new cars can look kinda tuff, the old touring cars just screamed tuff with the big flares, deep dish rims to fill said flares, and the square lines. i dont watch the v8s anymore, they all look alike. i am keen to see the new entries next year, nissan and/or whoever. but now i really only try to watch the classics when they are on. the camaros, toranas, mustangs, ford hardtops etc.

v8 supercars is way too over regulated, and has completely moved from the roots of its hey day. i know everyone will say, just watch the production car races then, and i do when im home, but i find them much more exciting to watch then the latest batch of look alike cars.

end of drivel.
