Are the lights lighting up on the OBD adapter? Is Torque recognising the adapter? Also check the protocol that torque is using to communicate. Set it to automatically detect what protocol to use.

the only lights that come on NOW is when you plug it in the first time it goes through a series of red and green blinks then just the red power light stays on
torque seams to recognize the adapter for a few seconds ,in the OBD status page it shows that the BLUETOOTH is connected OK and the phone has recognized the ELM but wont connect to the ECU
then it seams to loose the blue tooth and reconnect again . reconnect to the adaptor then looses it all again ,
it never gets to the stage of being able to read the ecu and all the lights flash ,like it did before
i don't know weather its adapter relater , or blue tooth related ?
protercol is on auto

Although i haven't used these elm/usb adapters,
different manufactures use different pinouts and protocols at the DLC (Diagnostic Link Connector). It could be that Mitsubishi may have a 12V,5V,7Volt pinout where the GM pinout has serial data, if this is the case you may have fried the elm adaptors serial switching circiuts.

Does The elm adapter say it can be used on Mitsubishi vehicles? If it canthen I'm back to square one and you can disregard all of the above.:D:hide:
