Hey guys,

Well i had a had a welsh plug crack in my 1999 Mercedes Vito Van (2L Petrol N/A 4cyl)...

Being a Mercedes, to change one plug of course requires removing the engine, gearbox, diff, kframe and the entire front subframe.

So while the engine is out, im going to do a bit of an overhaul. I need someone to change the head gasket and welsh plugs.. Ill do everything else myself.

So can anyone recommend someone to take it to in Melbourne? I can drop off the front end, so should be a "relatively" straight forward job. I am almost tempted to try it myself... I guess it depends what the quotes are.

Cheers

Ammstar in Heidelberg Road Alphington are good for passenger cars, but only slightly cheaper than merc dealer pricing for servicing.

Peter Lennox in Thomastown is supposed to be good as well, but never used him.

my good mate before he moved on over to the good ole us of a, worked for peter lennox. they fixed alot of cars that the dealers had troubles finding the problem. i was going to mention them but exwrx has already.
