Hi All, going to attempt to change my leads on my VZ SS, 5.7. It has done 105,000kms. Been recommended to get MSD, i see there are some on ebay model 32819. They are $104 including post. Do the heat sleeves, fit these, or do you just put on as they are. Any other thoughts would be appreciated.

MSD are a little over rated imo, standard ones are fine for big horse powered LS motors, and no the standard heat sleeves don't fit

Just got told by dyno testing place should fit MSD as they have noticed they are they best.

Dunno which thread but Martin_D says the stock ones handle a decent amount of power, I've got MSD and they smelled for the first few hundred k's as the heat sheilds didn't fit, I'll be going back to stock AC delcos when the time comes

Oh okay, i havent tested mine, or have the means to. But do you think 105,000 i should think about replacing them.

Thanks mate, they are the red ones I am looking at. Great if they do fit in the heat shields.
