I heard that HSV will not build any more GTS's until VF.
In other words, what's in stock is for sale, they'll build & sell the 25th Anniv cars, then there'll be no more until VF?
Is this true?
Cheers, Pickles.

Sounds reasonable if they are planning the LSA engine for the next gts.

Yeah, they would not want too much old stock models sitting around when the VF comes out.

They aren't selling very well atm.
Plenty of stock around and I would imagine they wouldn't want a heap lying around and therefore have to discount too much. (More than now)

I was told this a while ago by my dealer. After the 25th anniversary (which he knew no details of other than it was a good 'un). No doubt to lure me into buying.

Well, technically the 25th Ann is a badge, which resembles very closley the Chev bow tie - maybe the black edition can be white only, or Mabo would get upset..

Good. The GTS should be something special like it used to be. Not every 3rd car on the road.
There is some _serious_ discounting going on with the non 25th stock now by the looks of it.
Very, very tempting to pick one up at a price which starts with a 6, but the fact they are SO cheap makes me think the VF is going to be really, really worth waiting for, and maybe closer to being on sale than I thought? ;)

I think the dealers must be crying out for the VF, the VE is just so long in the tooth now and the dealers have nothing really new to discuss with potential repeat buyers...Some one who owns a E series 2 will notice very little change or enough change to consider a E3 MY12 or 12.5

yep. The VE is common as dogs balls now.
Hopefully with the VF series they will bring the GTS back up to the top tier it used to be prior to the VE.

Which is a shame that they are so common. I've seen quite a few p platers driving the e series lately as well which is surprising.
