Hi there,

I am really close to purchasing this kit from ebay with a Comp Cam 231/239 113 LSA . Lift IN : 617 EX : 624. Kit includes Pushrods, Lifters, Dual Valve Springs, Titanium Retatainers (extra $88), Valve locks, Valve Seats, Valve locks, Valve seals

I am wanting to get some heads to match this cam.. price wise around $2-3 for the heads inc postage..


Can someone recommend a good set of heads to match this cam??

An exchange set from Higgins.
3K on heads with that cam is overkill.

what are u aiming for out of all this ??

u have a figure in mind or u just wonna do head and cam?

With that size cam you wont want anything off the deck height.

I really want too crack the 11's!! I have at the moment a 3500 stally, 1 3/4 pacies, twin 3", 3.91's with trutrac.. Really want a tough-street car with good torque!

Put a cam in a set of et streets and a good tune and you are in the 11's

Agreed. You could put just about any cam in with that combo and you'll run an 11 if the setup is right.
Should be pretty close now?

I just thought that some heads would be better suited to this cam as opposed to others? I've considered AFR & mast etc. but not 100% which heads to go with..

Close to running an 11... Should be doing a very low 12 now?

Who is bolting all of this together or tuning it? Have you spoken to them about it and what they recommend?

Brad at Enhanced automotive to do all the work & tune..
I haven't spoke to him about the heads, but i am thinking that cos that comp package from ebay has vavle springs etc that the heads I buy will be heads alone with no valve springs, seats etc.. Just not sure what CC to buy intake/exhaust flow etc.. Was jut hoping someone could point me in the right direction!!
