Throttle body / Traction control-Engine light...

Hey All I just put a new BMI-78mm -Billet-Throttle-body on my VX-Calais 2002-LS1 The car drives ok ..
But the Traction control & Engine light come on after 10-15mins of driving then the engine light goe's out
and the traction control light stays on and won't turn off even with the button,
If I turn the car off & on again it will go out and then turn on again in another 10-15mins...Any idea's
Is it because it would be running lean...?

hi mate,
what ive been told traction control is in your ABS they told me i have to replace the traction control unit around $280 i think
mine happened when my battery stuffed up its more exciting driving without the traction control

Sounds like could be your TPS (Throttle Position Sensor).

I screwed mine recently when trying to clean the throttle body and had those exact symptoms. Does it also seem to hold 1st or 2nd a bit longer than usual at low throttle percentages?
