A 224/228 would suit what you're after. You will need stronger valve springs and pushrods at a minimum. A stall converter will make it even more enjoyable. Do a search, lots of good info on here.

haha what an open ended question.
Find a tuna you like, ask for his opinion, if you're anal like me do some reading of what people have used / recommended for their builds, take any US forum advice with a grain of salt as they seem to like their cams bigger for daily driven cars than what we would use here. You will also find a lot of conflicting advice about wide vs narrow split and wider LSA vs narrower.
FWIW, I've driven an LS1 with a Crow 219 227 @ 112 LSA, A4 stock stall and thought it was awesome for a daily also not too bad on fuel, would not personally use a Crow cam in my own car (going for a Comp LSR).

My advise is not to recommend a cam for you but instead recommend that you :google: cams and get a basic understanding on how they work and the pros and cons of different size cams as no cam will be perfect everywhere. Once you get an understanding of the concept then you can decide on what you think is best for you.
Thats what I did when I decided on my cam

You can do your head in from over thinking it though, would say that you should also consult with who's going to fit and tune it before you buy anything!
Is the car manual or auto? You will need to replace valve springs as a minimum as well.

thanks appreciate ur input
Being a manual and wanting something with 'a bit more punch and nice cam sound', I would be looking for a cam with a 113/114 LSA to smooth the lump out a bit a reduce the chance of low rpm surging. Going a slightly wider LSA as means you can go slightly longer on duration with compremising streetablity. There fore I would be looking something aound 22X/23X. My suggestion would be the COMP XER273. 224/230 114. Great power gains from the cam and good street manners.
