Hello Forum,
I am looking for some insight from the ls1.com.au community with regards to QLD Roadworthy/Safety Certificate issues and guidelines.
I am in the process of getting one of my cars up for sale and I am a little confussed as to what the requirements are for obtaining a QLD Roadworthy/Safety Certificate as I can't seem to find a standard for checklists. I live in Brisbane if that makes any difference.
My girlfriends grandfather has shown interest in purchasing the car from me so I want to get it ready and sold ASAP as I want to use that money to go towards Mods on my CV8.
The car in question is a 1997 Series i VT Berlina V6 Ecotec, Build No#. 00007. It is Holden by Design Badged so It has a sunroof (factory fitted Holden) aswell as the full VT MANTA body kit which was also factory fitted (I guess this makes it limited edition). The only Mods that the car has is the lowered suspension (It was lowered when I bought it) Other than that it is completely stock. Its done around 190,000 Kms.
The right side brake light went out soon after purchase and I suspect it may be a wiring fault (which I will get fixed for the RWC/SC)
But what other things will I need to have a look over to get the RWC/SC?
I don't mind getting a "quickie/dodgy" RWC/SC, just as long as the major safety issues are looked at and deemed satisfactory.
All input is much appreciated.

P.S If there are any mechanics/auto electricians here who could help me get my car looked at and passed that will also be acceptable ;)
