View Full Version : How to remove handbrake cable from VE Centre Console?

I have undone everything from the console but cant work out how to disconnect the handbrake cable from the console
Is it maybe from underneath the car??

If pre Mar 5, 2007 I can get those too though I'm sure there will be nothing significantly different.

Yes it is done from underneath the car. You will need to......
Raise the vehicle,
remove the centre body brace plate,
remove the exhaust heatshield,
remove mid section exhaust from cat back to rear mufflers,
remove the driveshaft,
remove the fueltank heatshield,
to get to the bolts that hold the front parkbrake cable to the body.
Why are you trying to remove, the handbrake cable?

I need to remove the center console from the car thats why
