VE, the most different colours

Just thinking the otherday, the VE(about to be replaced must have the most different colours holden have everdone on a car), obviosly to keep intrest but it does seem a long time ago that ignition(orange) hit the road.

Seems white(heron) and black(phantom) are the 2 that havent changed.

there's a bright yellow, it might have already been mentioned, but there is an SS across the road in that colour, and it's the only one that I've ever seen. Almost like an homage to the Absinthe Yellow of the VK/VL

If it is a solid sort of Yellow, that is Hazard, plain Yellow, solid not metallic (not 100% on that).

I wished Holden had offered the pink from the Torana TT36 show car. Looked good. Would have been great as a "hero" colour for the SS/SS-V.

Chlorophyll is the green colour not the blue, the bright metallic blue is Voodoo!

Yeah i really like that colour as well, the problem i have now is these "hero" colours are now losing cred, they are the same colours used on the stupid Cruze kinda takes the exclusivity out of it.

Saw a few Fantales on the web looks like it might be a test colour for the VF, one comment mentioned only 20 VE fantales built, can't see any Oysters (although Holden used this name for a colour on the EH), anyone got a picture???

The HQ had 57 colours that I know of for the Monaro (do'nt know if there were others for the rest of the range), they were spoilt for choices back then!

Holden have an interesting Link with quite a few coloures over the history of the VE. Missing a few though.
