a shame it was upside down in a paddock with the rear bar a few metres away. there was a massive set of skid marks in the wet grass and then a power pole and then a field with a clubby in it.:doh: what a waste. didn,t catch where it was but definitely storm related.

sorry my bad.....did anybody happen to see on the queensland local nightly news the poor owners of the hsv e3 r8 clubsport sedan in poison ivy that apparently lost control in the recent deluge caused by the aftermath of cyclone oswald and ended up wrecked in an adjacent paddock. judging by the length of the skid marks on the grass and the fact it came to rest on it,s roof with several parts of the vehicle dislodged and laying in close proximity to the vehicle it makes me wonder if speed was a factor in this untimely demise of someones possible pride and joy. i feel sorry for them and hope they didn,t receive any severe injuries. i wonder if anyone on here knows the car or owners. hopefully it was fully insured and everything will be honky dory for them.
