Hi team. After years of no hassle fun, my LPG has displayed it's first sign of insolence!

On a warm day (let's say 25 deg), the car will misfire under load. It may be light load, but it's undrivable in town. Switch to petrol, it's ace.

I have cleaned (not replaced) the LPG filter, which I believe is where the issue is, but I can't work out why it's only when the weather is warm.

Further analysis (when removing the filter from the convertor) shows that the AC canister located 2 inches from the filter housing is ABSOLUTELY FREEZING!

My thoughts are:
1 - the filter is stuffed
2 - Perhaps the convertor isn't getting ample water to heat
a - Radiator cap
b - Thermostat

Any experience team?

(PS - I just bought a brand new Captiva, so I am looking to sell the big girl!)

Misfiring under light load usually points to a bad plug/lead. These will often play up on LPG - but not when on petrol (LPG seems to demand an almost perfect ignition/spark).

Thanks Peter. I guess, with 300k and plus not done since 180k, it's time to lift the manifold!
