Just watched this 3 hour program today on SBS....I thought it was fantastic.
I can understand why people are saying that this race will get bigger & better.
The telecast itself, I thought was brilliant....some very funny, but very knowledgeable commentators ...(Lemans something or other they were called), and the camera work was pretty good too. Some very interesting cars in the race too.
A great many O.S. drivers competing, all saying the LOVED the race.....and the circuit. They all wanted to come back next year, and a few mentioned that they were looking for a drive in V8Supercars.
A very interesting event.

Yeah i watched it as well.I thought it was well done and it was good to see all the different makes.There was even a VY V8 running.The rain delays
made it even more interesting.

I only caught the last hour or so but it was quite good! As GEN III said, was interesting to see a VY V8 running. The car was one Jamie Whincup apparently drove at Bathurst and not only did it win I3 class but came 12th outright!! :goodjob:

Did not get to go this year. The closing speeds between the slower and faster cars is impressive to see. All in all it is a great race to watch.

Wasn't it the only car in I3? I watched a lot of the race by internet stream and the radio LeMans team were great. I really hope this gets bigger and better and turns into a full gt3 series.

Don't know....but like I said, it was a ripper summary. I reckon if SBS got enough requests, they would repeat it......maybe there's a video available?

Saw it on pay last week , the Ferrari 458 did a 2.06 , faster then The V8 supercars .

This how racing should be done, with dream cars and cars that are available to the average punter .
