Hi all

I have a vy manual clubby which I recently put a new ls3 .I reused the origianal oil sender of my ls1 which was fine for the first 2000kms but then I got the high voltage fault so I installed a new one fault went away fixed. Now I get the same fault but only randomly but every day and it goes away. I have not had a oil light come on at all just check engine warning on the display. My other oil gauge is not working but I will fix that to check oil pressure are ther any other possible causes?

Thanks Daniel

hi all

Well I have hooked up the HSV oil gauge and my scan gauge and it reads between 30 psi and 80 psi as it got warmer though I was getting a higher reading from the scan gauge which uses the factory oil sender. Could this mean I have another faulty oil sender or there are diffrent pressures within the engine?
Any help please

Thanks Daniel

I would say your sender is shagged. Did u buy a genuine or aftermarket one? Try a genuine sender and see how that goes.
