Hi guys im looking for some advice on what you use on my ve to keep the black plastic around your mirrors looking new as after a wash they seem to have a white pastie look to them.

Also having trouble getting like water marks of the front and rear screens around the black edge of the glass.

Thanks jas

Nanolex trim rejuvenator is what you want.

What are you using on the water marks?

I use acid to remove the oxidisation from the plastic trims but that's probably not a wise move for most. The nanolex should do the trick as will black wow. Both are sold by car care products.

The windows, again I use acid except where the wipes swing to avoid etching into any micro scratches, this works a treat for water spots on glass. Also not the best idea for most but another great product is duragloss nu-glass polish also from car care products

Duragloss do a window cleaner polish that works a treat on watermarks on glass.
See Car Care Products website or thread.

You can also use a clay bar on the glass, works well. Or any mild paint polish (e.g. paint cleaner or swirl remover) if that doesn't do the trick. Just follow with a glass cleaner spray to remove any residue.
