Hi Guys,
As the title asks, has anyone had any luck getting dual Aeroforce gauges to power up at the same time. I've done some research and apparently if you apply switched 12V into the red wire of the additional harness (as used for the analogue input) on each gauge and remove the jumpers, then the gauges should power up at the same time. I've done this and still, one of the gauges takes longer to recover from sleep mode.
Does anyone have any advice? Am I meant to connect a GND or -12V signal anywhere?
Note: These gauges are in my VY SS if that matters
Thanks guys

I've had them in three Monaros and never had an issue with them powering up together, is it always the same one?

Thanks for the reply Cashie. You've been pretty lucky it seems.
And yes it is always the one on the right that takes longer to get out of sleep mode. The operating instructions does state "Please note that dual Interceptor units may power up sequentially (one at a time)".
I did contact Todd from Aeroforce and he said that using switched 12V should fix this little problem...however it hasn't for me :(

Anyone else had this problem and rectified it somehow?

Sorry mate never had this issue when I had mine, would be a split half second between two booting up. Maybe try putting the startup back to standard picture if you halve changed it, even try swapping them around see if that helps

Thanks Zorro. I haven't timed the delay between the two gauges, but it does seem to a few seconds delay....definitely not a split second. I have changed the logo to "SS" on both gauges, so I might put that back to standard

The time delay between the two gauges switching on is just less than 2 secs. I sent an email to Aeroforce Tech and I received the following reply:
"they are designed to start at slightly different times. The comm bus in the car is designed for only one tool. We are pushing its capabilities by using two 'tools' at once.
If both gauges start at the same time the bus can lock up and not work at all."
This does make sense, however the delay that I experience is longer than most.

Sure will & very easy to install (plug & play). I believe that you need to order the CN series gauges. Plenty of threads on here regarding aeroforce gauges
