WN Caprice unveiled

G'day all,

For anyone interested, details have finally come to light of the new "WN" series Caprice. The exterior is unchanged except for new 19" wheels (previously 18") and chrome door handles.

The interior is all-new and the V8 model has features like 8" touchscreen with live traffic alerts, voice recognition, "MyLink" app integration, blind spot alert, auto park assist, forward collision alert, lane depature warning and a new rear entertainment system with dual flip-up screens.

The updated PPV has not been properly unveiled but will feature a basic version of the new interior including a column-style shifter.

If so I'm guessing is aimed at fleet vehicles like taxis/town cars, although most town cars I see getting around Melbourne are v8

Kinda works for me as I do big km travelling between Canberra and Sydney, plus likely tall sons as mentioned earlier. This might turn out to be my next car.

Caprice could be picked up by the yanks and export it to us, continue it on the ATS platform, VJ Commodore built here on the CTS Alpha platfrom (did I get that the right way around?). And the both come as a coupe don't they :)

Which brings a question, can the screens stream media from iphone / tab / digital TV / blue tooth keyboard... Actually i might patent a bracket that replaces / slips over the screens with an Ipad / tab.
