Tunning advice required for VE SS

Hi guys newbie when its comes to this stuff on modern cars,

What we won't more rumble more poke and more fun

Our SS has been parked up since Easter wife has too many key jobs down the side so we thought do we sell it and buy a GTS of similar age of just detail and tune up our current car we've had since new with sod all k's

We like the classic V8 rumble but was told today to look at a Walkinshaw package, tune, exhaust, cold air intake, $4400 or we can get a xforce 3" cat back for $700, way I see it hot up our current ode and be 20k better of then buying a series one GTS with only 6ltr anyway, and with unknown history

So we would like some info and thoughts, is a Walky kit worth it ? Were can we get it? Or what other options should we look at?

My advice have a listen to a few different exhaust systems some like the sound of the xforce exhaust however many do not.
Bang for buck yes but pretty thin grade stainless I am not a fan but every exhaust sounds different once you settle on the sound that suits you then settle on the package.
I would opt to modify your current vehicle because you have had it since new and know its service history etc.
I would do full exhaust 1 3/4 headers and 2.5 inch catback, over the radiator air intake and tune best bang for buck modifications one can do.
Shop around not all shops are the same and the case of you get what you pay for very much applies

Do a search on OZTRACK. I think you might change your mind. Walkinshaw stuff is over priced
