Hi guys I am looking for a standard size pair of rocker covers to suit 241 heads but have the ability to mount the coil packs off of the brackets etc like the after market rocker covers I cant remember if holley did them not sure and I don't want polished as I will be welding bungs onto them any help would be appreciated . The picture below shows the image I am looking for.... I know the coils are different on thses covers but I want to use the standard or msd coils individually mounted on a standard style rocker cover

Those are NRE ones with the covers for the coils.
Holley do a cheap version, available polished or black.

I thought it was holley but haven't found them yet the black were painted or powder coated weren't they........ I was after something that could be welded so I can do my pcv system and I have a heap of left over speedflow fittings that I was going to use

I've got a set of black Holleys, they're like a ripple paint. Don't think its powder coat, would come off easy with soda blasting or similar if you wanted to weld and refinish them.
They're here, also available in Satin. I got mine from Speed Inc.

They're designed for the later model coils, LS3 type I think. The earlier ones have a larger bolt spacing so you either need to switch coils and wiring, elongate the holes or just use one bolt to hold them on.

Nothing is ever easy is it hahaha........ I was also looking at the preform ones I have heard there is sealing issues with them is this right and clearance issues with after market roller rockers

Mine leaked with the original gaskets, new ones fixed that.
I've got 1.8:1 Yella Terra's and they cleared no problem. There's only a small baffle on them so can't see there being too many clearance issues.

Don't seem to have any of them on the motor (thought I did!)
Here's them in the box though, gives you an idea of the baffle

Not sure of your budget but Mark at Harrop showed me their new Billet Covers last time I was there.

Found this for you...
Only LS1 are different, LS2/L98/L76/LS3 etc should all fit properly.

Are the plugs and wiring harness for the coils the same for VY ls1 so that I could convert over two ls2 /ls3

I think you can change it all over if you go back to the main plug (ie the loom that goes out to each coil). There was a thead on it somewhere, I remember seeing it. It's not a difficult thing to do, just expensive... which I guess you have to factor in to the cost of the covers. You could probably get billet covers that would hold your original coils for the same over all price.
I just used the top bolt and left the bottom ones off. It holds them tight enough, just doesn't look quite right if you have a close look at it.

Was this with Stock Gaskets of the YT Spacer gaskets?

Stock ones AFAIK, didn't order a thicker one but they may have supplied one anyway...
They clear my factory covers and whatever gasket was on there as well? Didn't seem overly thick when I took the originals off. I have heard of later model rockers clearing no problems and the earlier ones needing the covers spaced out... not sure how true that is?

Any chance of a Macro pic showing the Cover installed?
The thicker Gaskets are pretty easy to pick.

Can do, you just have to wait about a week till I get home from work

No probs thanks!
I have the stock L98 covers with the YT Gaskets, while they seal they're a big Mongy so would be nice being able to go back to genuine gaskets, the other downside if the YT Gaskets use the stock bolts with Nuts as spacers so you don't get as much thread engagement and if torqued to factory spec it strips the threads out of the Heads after 2>3 installs... :(

Definitely no nuts/spacers on mine, I remember that much!
