Its sort of like running methanol in race cars they use around twice the amount of fuel compared to gasoline powered cars but you can run more boost. Thats the way i remembered it from way back.

Not twice. About 15-20%. Which when you price it up its generally cheaper per km

I thought he was talking about methanol using twice as much.

E85 currently seems to work out close to even with a cheaper price but higher usage... just less kms to a tank.

Yea i was talking about methanol just use to remember the drag cars use to have to run much bigger fuel systems and also they didnt need to use intercoolers because the inlet temps where way down using methanol.
