Can anyone cite the differences between the VE HSV seats?

Any particular model?
E1 Senators had the R8 Leather seats (not electric, well basically a Clubbie with a Senator body kit), and E1 Senator Signatures had the GTS seats with Napa leather trim (Electric). It can get a bit grey as I have seen R8's with the fabric or leather seats.

You may be better off asking members to post photos of their seats so you can check out the visual differences.
Plus ask them to add if they are full electric or not.

Thanks guys. I want to replace my electric leather seats from m VE SS-V, and I have seen a few seats for sale from various HSV's, so being able to determine which seat is electric etc would be good. The main thing looking for is a seat that will hold me in alot better around the twisty bits

I have E1 Senator Signature with full leather and electric seats...awesome looking and performing seats, highly recommend them!

I actually sat in a E1 R8 and GTS on the weekend at a dealership (just browsing) and thought that the E1 GTS seats felt like they could hold you in far better than the leather Clubby seats. They seemed to support my upper body/shoulder area more than the Clubby seats when moving left to right in the seat (simulated twisties!)
The main differences for the E series (1 and 2 anyway) seats as far as I can tell are:
- GTS seats are 8 way adjustable (no memory) compared to the Clubby which has manual adjustment apart from seat height/tilt.
- GTS seats are a combination of leather and suede (or something) where as the Clubby seats are either all cloth or all leather (if optioned)
- GTS seats appear to have more lateral support for your upper body and shoulders compared to the Clubby seats
- Senator seats are pretty much the same as the leather optioned Clubby seats
- Senator Signature seats are pretty much the same as the GTS (seat shape wise, stitching may be a little different) with full electric adjustment, however they have a memory function with 3 settings (just like the Calais)
Hope this helps!
Personally, I have been looking at updating my Calais to an E1 GTS. One thing that concerns me with these cars is that I have seen a lot of drivers seats that have knackered right side and leg/thigh bolsters. Even ones with reasonably lowish kms on them. Are people just being rough getting in and out of their cars or do these seats not wear as good as the old ones circa VY, VZ?

Talk to a motor trimmer, they should be able to get GTS foams and trim them in leather on your existing frames. Doyles here do it.

Our E1 Senator seats hold the body nicer than our E1 Clubby, but they are not GTS seats.
