Ferntree Gully Holden parts - a pleasure to deal with

Just wanted to send a quick public "thumbs up" to Ferntree Gully Holden parts, particularly Will down there. (No I don't have any connection with him or the business).

Had been chasing a set of Fluxus 20s for my SS for a little while now and found some very good pricing on eBay from FTG. Unfortunately they'd sold the set with tyres I was initially interested in, but was able to work something out with them on a rim-only set and took care of the whole thing over the phone. Bought Friday, shipped from Melbourne first thing Monday, in my garage in Canberra on Wednesday morning in perfect order.

Agree - nice people at the spare parts counter and great parts service always from people that know their stuff.
In my book these were rated as the best amongst parts counter brands I have visited.

One thing though, they have gone the way of the boutique, I liked it better when they all the greases and special gm lubricants,
Now it's mainly fluids , chevy badges etc.


When asked about this - it's YOU THE PEOPLE that are to blame - buying these items from Super CRAP and the like......

Sad as I thought more people would prefer to do it right with proper genuine AC Delco parts - as DH would say Shame Shame Shame!
After all if it's DIY - why not use the right parts? as your already saving a fortune on labour.... :-)
