Targa rally Adelaide prologue. Pics

So I ventured out to the targa rally prologue at the Adelaide show grounds tonight. Bloody hell it's a tight track and no room for error. It reminds me of the isle of Mann TT going through the town with buildings either side. As seen below.

not a great photo as the spectators are a little bit away from the track but this car failed to turn right and slid head on into the building

And just as I write this there are 3 300c srt8 on track one tried to do a standing burnout in front And in the wet couldn't get the wheels to spin :doh: I really hope he had tc on because it wasn't a good advertising plug

I remember Clarkson complaining on Top Gear while he was testing an earlier model SRT8 that these cars were from "The Land Of The Free"
and the driver was not given the freedom of choice to turn off the Traction Control :lol:

100% correct, awesome car and sound great on full song

Just got home, was going to post some more picks but my phone went flat about 1/3 the way through the event. I took some vids as well and will up load the rest of the pics and vids once my phone is charged. The damned thing went flat as the Mclaren was starting its run so didnt get it nor did I get any of the GTR's or the Lambo - which sounded insane

To be honest I don't know if it will be televised which us a shame. I went out last year to one of the stages which is about 10mins from where I live but was cancelled due to a death earlier on I the event on the same stage and the locals got the sh1ts up and poured oil and tacks on the road to stop the cars coming through. But will head out again this year. The event is running now and will run until Sunday I believe.
