I did 30 runs and all without any drama.

Great results Lindsey.

What about "Thanks to a piece of rice from the RX-8's tyre repair kit..."?

"Ahh, Grasshopper - You must use the chopstick" :flip3:

Cheers,

Absolutely top stuff. Finally all the time/effort and $$ has come to fruition. Also, a big thumbs up to Mark who has certainly done the hard yards.

Driving the ute on slicks is quite nice and simple, plenty of time to have a drink etc. On road tyres it could easily all turn nasty in wrong hands.;) Only wish I hadn't experienced the power, that means more $$ now.

Awesome work Lindsey, great to see that you are finally getting the ute sorted for how it should perform.

Now we just need to organise a meet down here in the cold for you to come to and run some low 11's.

Brett.

Well done Lindsey, there's a few polished floors in that beast.

What numbers did it pull on the dyno?

I was wondering when someone might ask that.
It pulled a max of just over 265 rwkw.

But due to the loose stall and they way it multiplies torque the power curve doesn't at all match the power curve from the engine dyno, it will be run up again with a different ramp rate to compensate for the way the TC changes things.

On the Engine Dyno (Dyno Log) it made
485hp @ 6100 / 450 ftlb @4800
Through the exhaust and Cats that are on my ute.

interesting that- Kim's Stroker only shows 288rwkw but runs 123.x mph....

I was telling Mark about the things we saw with ramp rate- will be interesting to see if you get similair results.....

Awesome to see it all falling into place for you now Lynds.:bounce:
