If one were to purchase a Redline SSV. Do you know if it would be possible to purchase the dash suede and door trims from the SSV as I personally think the cream is a bit gross. I like everything about the redline now except that bloody interior colour, I asked the sales guy and he did have a clue? Thoughts?

I think you can has to be ordered and built like that from factory so it would take a while to get your order. The white isnt to bad you get use to it and at night its pretty good i reckon stops it being a bit monotonous in all black. You could take it to an upholstery place and rip it out and replace it with Alcantara like in a Porsche that would be different

At the moment the Redline is only available with the light trim. Given they are selling as many as they can build, I doubt they will be even thinking of changing that or taking a special order. You could swap trims with a regular SS-V, but that would be a dealer done thing and again, I doubt any dealer would be interested in doing something like that to a brand new car for you. They would then have to sell a SS with the wrong trim code.
Basically if you love the Redline, you'll have to learn to love the Calais style trim or get some cash ready for your auto trimmer and do something non stock. Your other option is to try and get a discount on the base HSV, which has the dark trim, but while you gain the engine, you lose some other stuff over Redline.
Is there a difference with SSV and SSVR trims? Here is my SSV Which looks the same as a SSVR I looked in. 2742

The trim pictured above is optional in the SS-V, where the standard trim is black instead of "Platinum". The Redline only has the Platinum trim available.
I thought about this same thing when I was looking because I didn't like it. Only real option is to buy the interior trim pieces as spare parts. But then it will look wrong anyway because the Redline trim pieces (even where it's black) have red stitching, where the SS-V does not. It really does grow on you fairly quickly though.

Go to a reputable motor trimmer such as GM Millane here in Perth and get them to change it to whatever combo your heart desires. They will do a great job that will look better than Factory!

Ahh I see. I prefer the white/cream highlights too much black makes me think of my dreaded VE interior. If you get the V or VR models you are paying to get a bit of class / Calais luxury so to speak inside which I think it achieves nicely.
You might find a SSV owner with the all black inside looking to break it up inside and swap with your SSVR trim.
