I'm new to the forum, just purchased a new VF SS, would like to have a new exhaust fitted, cold air intake and a tune, I'm after any suggestions on a good work shop in Sydney.
Many thanks

Russo's or Castle Hill Performance. Heard only good things from them two.

Taken all my cars to Russo from tune only to full blown setups. They are a couple of Aussie blokes who are dead set unreal with anything that has a lion on the front. Cannot recommend them high enough if you want to have your VF last well. I got full blower and engine build at 900km and it's over 50k now has not missed a beat, gets amazing fuel economy etc. my old ute put 80k on it after a cam and heads install and when I sold it the new guys mechanic told him it was the best tune he's ever seen on a canned LS1.
Russo Performance for mine. They have a brand new workshop now too in Smeaton Grange.

Used them for my ripshifter in my vz clubsport a few years back. Had no issues with the work but thought they were a little arrogant.

Call girch at LSX tuning, knows more than most the blokes already mentioned in my opinion...
You will not be disappointed.....

Not trying to mud flick mate but interested to know how you came to that judgement. Have you have work done by Russo, Sams and Sonny as well as LSX?

Um dude the guy gave his own opinion and stated it is his opinion just as you have your opinion I have my own opinions but wont state as will be accused of trying to toot my own horn due to where I work. He is entitled to his much the same as you are entitled to yours.
But I also have no issue with recommending russos they are genuine sick c##ts

I have had dealings with all of them, both directly and indirectly... And I stand by my statement...

LSX Tuning , Then Castle hill , Then Russo. All are good and have the runs on the board (or track) TO PROVE IT. At the end of day, go speak to everyone you can listen to what they say and then make your own choice. that's what I did. I think I spoke to nearly every tuner in Sydney before I decided on LSX and have never looked back.

If you want it fast go to the track and see who consistently has the fastest LS cars. For my money it's Russo's or LSX tuning.

Always think it's a little bit funny when someone mentions the "best Tuner" My question is best at what??
Reckon a good tune is a little ambiguous as it all depends on the customers requirements!!
So I guess the best Tuner is the operator that actually listens to the Customers requirement's & achieves their desired outcome, that said I don't believe any to be better than another..

That comment is like saying all women are exactly the same in the bedroom.:hide:
There ae some brilliant tuners and some real horror stories out there.
Some are much better than others.:goodjob:

If you know a thing or 2 and have seen the tunes this 'best tuner' provides you will see there is a far and wide gap between tuners & tuners. Food for thought.

Any tuner can make power. That's easy. Getting dynamics, idle, start up, economy etc right is where you separate the mugs from the pros

The good old "who's the best tuner" thread ... in years gone by this wouldn't have lasted 5 mins
(mods must be getting soft ... :stick:)
