Nope but I did this today instead of using a ZEX. Cheaper, simpler and more reliable

That's fine, but if your tune is locked and you don't have efi live your up shit creek
At least with the ZEX Window switch anyone can change what gear it arms and disarms at, what rpm it activates, and shuts off etc
Very simple, Ive just gt to remember what coil config to set it to

Obviously not for everyone. But I'm sure your tuner could turn it on for you for free if not a minimal fee. You can set different rpm per gear in the PCM too

But do you need your tuner to change each setting in the future?
ie firstly you want it to come on in 3rd gear, then change your mind or racing style and require it to come on in 4th instead?

And that's a big deal why. If someone is that into racing they should have a pretty good relationship with their tuner anyway
Or buy an autocal off their tuner

Well, one of the styles of racing I do here, can require 3 changes per day
The Zex window switch means the owner can make the change in 10 seconds himself

Ok cool if that's what you need but not many guys are going to go down that route. I would of thought for those kind of tweaks a full controller like an NMS-1000 would be the go. Hell a lot of guys still use an antiquated micro switch on the throttle and that's it.
All these solutions bring in added complexity and potential reliability issues (search ZEX window switch failure)
All I was showing was an alternative cheap reliable solution. Clearly no good for yourself. But others might get something out of it
Can't help with your ZEX. Good luck with it

On further thinking, a combo of both - flick a switch, and rip some timing and richen it up, along with the zex controller to make it easy for me to alter activation points etc
Cheers for the input :-)
