Wrap VF Ute Roof

I'm going to c/f wrap the roof on my SSV Ute - does the base surround of the antenna just pull off or is there a secret to removing it.

Want to find out in advance as I know the sign writers will ask me that question

full Di Fillipo system
Otr
Lowered all round on lovells
mafless tune
replaced all chrome trim with gloss black
SSV Redline rims

Stereo upgrade - that is all speakers, and added amp and sub behind drivers seat - effing awesome!!

Brakes next, then add a bit of f/I down the track

Mate - I love it, leaves the VE for dead

Had a play in it at Barbagallo which was a blast

Gonna take it up to WAW soon and see if I can pull an 11 in it

Im looking at getting the same work done to my vf at SQP as you have HD and was wondering which cam did you go for the sq53 or 54?
Just interested to know how either behaves on the road

Went the SQ53 - on the limit of stock convertor

Goes lick a cut snake, and love it - took it to Motorplex and reeled of 12.6 on a slippery track, including nailing a VF GTS

2300 blower is on the horizon now though, then drop on of my 408's into it as well.

CF wrap is still waiting - supplier is holding my bloke to ransom over buy price atm!! - wants $250.00 just for wholesale supply of enough wrap just for ute roof!! ffs

Wont be long though and I will have it done, and I will post some pics

How did you go about the amp upgrade? Local Holden service manager tells me the standard amp is just part of the head unit setup and is piss weak. Does the aftermarket amp just plug straight in or is there some stuffing around?
