Is there a Glitch in your script as page won't scroll unless site clicked on , it wasn't doing this the other day

What browser are you using? I've tried Firefox and Chrome on both Windows and Linux and can scroll without the window being in focus.
It could be some other program or browser addon intercepting scroll-wheel input.
Chrome only chrome. and it's only this site, it scrolls while loading up the page, but then stops and has to be clicked on to scroll.
I'm not overly worried , just a heads up, thought it might be their end,
but if no-one else is experiencing the problem , then it could be my end.

For the last couple of days the newsfeed hasn't worked on Firefox plus the system seems to have lost track of what posts you've read. Normally when you click on a thread from the main forum window (http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/forum.php) under latest posts it takes you automatically to your first unread post. Now 99% of the time it just takes you to post #1 and if you click on View First Unread it still leaves you on post #1. For a split second it appears as if it's going to work but then jumps back to the top. :(

I assumed it was a forum problem, not FF itself. Just tried IE - same problems occur. :(

Sorry to disappoint you guys but the only somewhat similar site I ever use is MFC. I also have Norton running in the background and can't even remember the last time I had a virus problem - many years ago! However, just to be sure I ran a scan - no problems. Then downloaded and ran Malwarebytes which confirmed no problems.
This is what happens in both FF and IE and in both my Win 7 and Win 8 installs. It looks to be a problem with an add-on but I've checked and all add-ons, Java and Shockwave etc are up to date.

Glad I'm not the only one!! Wonder what's causing it given it isn't affecting everybody?
Here's the "extras" I have attached to Firefox. Anybody else having problems got any in common? Or anybody whose is working fine got any of them so we can hopefully eliminate them?

Out of curiosity....
Who here with the issue is running an AdBlocker or not?
I'm running Adblock and the Chrome/FF nightlies block plugins by default. It's quite possibly a Flash or other plugin-based element drawing focus.
The News section is definitely broken on mine as well. On top of that, I always have the chatbox minimized.
EDIT:
Think I found the issue and it's definitely related to the News box. TBH, I have no idea what the newsbox code is trying to achieve. It's attempting to log into the caradvice.com.au backend?
Looks to me like the login form (that has appeared in the last couple of days) is drawing focus.

Try clicking the "^" button on the side of the news box. See if that fixes the issue.

Simon only minimizes the content or expands it, it's still buggered though!

OK, I can confirm it's the news ticker. I added it to the add blocked and all works as expected.
The issue is that the web browser moves focus to the current "active" section of the web page (it might be a frame or script). In this case, because the Caradvice frame is requesting login credentials, so it's taken the focus off the main window and stopping key board scrolling.
Let me see if I can find out what's going on.

I assume nobody is bothered about fixing this? :bawl: The most annoying thing to me (anybody else???) is that View First Unread Post is not working properly. It jumps down to the first unread post for a split second but then immediately jumps straight back to the top of the page. :nutkick:
