I have a 2006 VE SS 2006 A6 with a 406ci stroker. Makes 540rwhp NA.

I want to buy some street legal drag radials to use at the strip. I have 245/45/R18 wheels/tyres. Closest I could find was a 245/40/R18. As my car is a daily driver, will that tyre spec affect my speedo reading? If so how and by how much?

Going to a 245/40/18 will net about a 3.7% give or take slower speedo reading.
