Good morning

I have purchased a ls3 motor "conversion" out of a 2011 clubsport, & have had no luck in finding a suitable wiring diagram. The haynes book might as well be thrown in the bin - its section on the ls3 states "Some" - as their excuse that nothing matches. As its a fairly late car, I was told that it may have run a fuel ecu (if so I didn't get it) - this is one of the things I need to confirm to start the rewiring process (it's going into a concept car)

Anyone able to help?

Thank you

Toby

Oh - can supply VIN details from donor car if required. Car was interstate so unable to view it & if you look at the thread on "gold coast hsv spares" you'll understand why I can't view the car or deal with the seller.

There is a genuine GM subscription based option available. Price depends on the period of time you require access for. You would choose the "SI" option. 3 days- $20 US. One month $150 US. You can print off whatever you want in the timeframe you choose.

Guys,

The holden dealer told me about the subscription based info, but told me the wrong email address - basically he was not interested in helping me out - link is worth exploring though I guess!

Micks - that would make sense I guess - pitty the haynes manual I bought is completely useless.... I'll look for wiring diagram for a l77 then!

Smashfist - pm sent. let me know if you did not get it for some reason

thanks

Check your PM's bud, I sent you some info back.

FWIW, even though both systems are said to be the same, there are separate wiring diagram setups for L77 and LS3.

Any idea of the differences between them?

Dave sent me the fuel diagram (thank you heaps). so looks like the l77 has a fuel pump ecu, whereas the ls3 uses the "old" simpler setup where the pressure is reglated inside the pump only (which is good as I cant use the ve fuel pump in this application) - i will be using an earlier vz v8 type of pump, which from research runs the same fuel pressure & very similar flow

getting there now!

Thanks guys

Would be worth buying EFI-Live or HPT and doing it yourself as there's bound to be a bunch of other small things that need doing on a project like this!
