Hey Guys,

Well as the title suggests, I have been lurking for a while.
Currently have a vy signature 260 ls1 as a bit of a toy.

In the process of sussing out its power gains, and willing to spend a fair chunk on it as it has sentimental value.
Just wondering, Have any installers tackled or are willing to tackle the conversion from LS1 to the LSA in a VY?

Obviously this would need to be engineered and somebody with the experience and ability to strengthen the A4 to suit would be paramount.
Either this route, Or i look at a new gearbox and auto to suit all together.

Did a search and found a bit of info on the crate itself, but not anyone willing to give it a stab.
Anyway, I would be keen to hear from any sponsors that would take this on.

In Melb - But will travel east coast.
Cheers

Mate it can be done. Should have a chat to Harrop as they stuck one in a VZ and the wiring loom is all worked out for that so cant be to much trouble doing the VY

Quite often emails do not get replies,

I see you are in Melbourne, I think you might be best off either phoning them or dropping in & talking to them.;)

Mick, I can understand their side of things,

I honestly think some of these performance shops must get sick of spending so much time & effort

writing detailed emails to so many dreamers.;)

A couple of shops have lost at least $30,000 from me by not answering emails! Some people in the Oil and Gas and Mining industries just find its way easier via email instead of satellite phone and delay.

Well, sounds like you are aware some of these shops ignore emails.

I certainly can see both sides but as I posted above (because plenty of emails do get ignored) he is best off getting on the phone or simply dropping in.;)

Yea for sure. I was just giving a reason why some of us do use email. So some of the shops shouldn't really ignore it its loosing business. I bought the Mast heads recently transaction was done via email offshore Shetland islands! And final payment sent from Heathrow.

Hey I can fully understand where you are coming from & I think these people should reply to emails but we know they often don't.

The other side of it is that if I was serious about spending my money doing something like this & it was local,

I would like to talk to the people, have a look at their workshop & get a feel for who I was going to be dealing with.

Harrop has just placed an LSA into a VZ GTO. They had to use parts of the LS9 to make it fit. Looks like they were very thorough. Give ém a call, but ya're gonna need deep pockets.
