The fuel pump has nothing to do with injector size. You need to calculate engine power output , then select injectors to suit the power output, then have a fuel system to keep up with the injectors or power output. If your engine is stock then stock injectors are fine. If you fit a bigger fuel pump or pumps then you will regulate it to 58psi or 4 bar anyhow. So your stock injectors are fine for a stock engine. In other words there is no benefit putting bigger fuel pumps running a stock engine.

If you are putting out 700hp crankshaft I would be running 60 lb siemens deka iv injectors. They are 72.9 lb @4 bar or 58psi. You might be able to get away with 48 lb injectors which would mean that your tune would not need to be scaled to fit the software for larger injectors . IJ or macca will know. The E38 ecm fits up to something like 48 lb injectors the same as the E40. Scaling is a pain for a novice like me ,but the pros have the tunes already scaled for the 60 lb injectors as they are common. Scaling does cause problems with resolution of parameters of the tune though which is no big issue, but causes some small inaccuracies.
