VCM otr failure

VCM have had a problem with leaking otr, make sure you check you intakes people.
More info over on HSVForum with some info from VCM.
As I'm a new member I can't link to HSV forum or post Steve's email. Could someone please put this info up for those that will be effected.


Hey guys.

We had issues with several batches of OTR housings that where not produced to our guidelines - therefor showing signs of leakage past the filter. This has now been rectified in the short term and a long term fix has already been implemented. If you believe your unit is effected please email me and i will sort each issue out individually and as quick as possible.

Thanks, but anyone with VCM OTRs on here should know all about it - has been discussed on here before, beginning years ago.

They are offering replacement units it's a different issue.

Yeah I recall when I got mine that it needed self adhesive foam around the edges to stop it from leaking, and that was ~2 years ago!
