Cruze Issue???

A friend of mine down in Gippsland has a new Cruze that has only done 3000km. In the air conditioner an alloy elbow joint in between the rubber hoses has just fractured for the second time. He'd like to know if there's a way to find out if there's an ongoing issue with these?

The service guy at the dealer he bought the car from (nearest dealer and over 40km away) doesn't seem to be too helpful other than "it's under warranty, we'll keep replacing it". Frustrating........ :nutkick:

If his issues are not random, and are repeated across the field, it will be investigated by Holden.
There are no techlines on it. About all a dealer can do if it occurs again is to get a TAC case opened up and they will investigate it more closely.
