By memory they're just a rubber impregnated washer! Can easily make a set with a small sheet of rubber & a wad punch, reckon you could do the whole job under $18 bucks period!!

Shouldn't leak out of the bolts anyway, have reused broken ones plenty of times
Pretty sure ARP do them, would be about $30-40 a set of bolts and grommets, otherwise get the Fel-Pro ones

Local speed shop should have them?
I believe you can get the GM ones on their own from the states, just not locally
Yep they seal on the angled part not on the retainer knobs on the ends..

That's right I'd be more concerned what could weep or be sucked in!

If your concerned do that & order a new set from the states with a few other bits & pieces to make the transaction worthwhile! e.g Box of oil filters, plugs & leads...
The Knob is just so your hand doesn't slip off .... hang on wait a sec it's so they're retained in the covers for assembly it serves 0 purpose after that ;)
I have a bunch with it missing totally and no leaks.

Was going to order a set but the $67.45 (US Dollar) for shipping just killed it for me:cussing:

Even on the slow boat? Or send them to shipito and forward them on
Or get genuine ones from one of the multiple GM parts dealers, they were about the same price I think

When I replaced my inlet manifold last year, I replaced these grommets in the rocker cover bolts as there was a bit of light oil seepage around them I got them from Autobahn down in Kawana Waters on the Sunshine Coast so I'd image outher Autobahns around the country would have them.
Cheers, Matthew
