Morning all,

Noticed yesterday the 'atari' / SIC gauges in my SSV are not displaying, as in the screen won't power up. Everything else is working fine, but not the SIC display. I've had a search and like the idea of putting in a 3 gauge version, and I understand the oil temp gauge won't work without getting a setting changed in HP tuners / EFI live. I do have a few concerns though, that I'm hoping someone can clear up for me.

Firstly, I've read they have a separate control module for the SIC display, is this correct? If so, how do I know it's the screen that's buggered and not the computer that controls it?

Next, does anyone know the month / year of the change to the 3 gauge display from the older 2 gauge one? Or does anyone have a part number for the 3 gauge one? I've found a few second hand ones around, but obviously don't want to buy the older type.

And finally, how the hell do I get to this damn thing? Looks like the centre plastic fascia has the come out, does this just pull off? Anything else have to come out?

Cheers!

Update: After pulling the speaker cover out and seeing there'd be no access without pulling the whole dash apart, I decided to disconnect the battery for 20mins or so to reset everything, and it worked! Display powered up this morning like nothing ever happened. What a relief, I really couldn't be bothered paying $250-300 for the new display and pulling the dash out to replace it. So, if this ever happens to you, try disconnecting the battery first.
