2004 astra coil plug

Hi,i changed the coil pack over today on an astra and it all went well except i could'nt for the life of me figure out how to put the connector plug back on,it came off the old coil fine but won't go on the new coil pack connection,i have also tried to connect it to the old coil pack connector and it just won't plug in?,any help please much appreciated,i am stumped big time.

It's probably just tight on the rubber seal, try removing it if you can and see if it will go in all the way then. If so, put some lube on the seal and refit it.

There was no rubber seal on the plug when i pulled it off and no seal that came with the new coil pack either?,it just wont go in any further and is about 10mm short for the steel connectors to mate up?.

Did you get the right part? We've just changed coil pack on my wife's AH Astra and apparently there are different part numbers available. Ours I got from eBay for about $90 delivered (better than $300+ for genuine) after checking part number was right. Went straight on.
