Hi guys.

I am looking at upgrading my 07 SSV. I'm looking at the 2015 VF SSV Redline in white with the black rims.
Test drove one yesterday loved it. The heads up display was a little annoying but can be turned off so all good.

my question - is there anything you guys would suggest me getting added to it from factory. My current Ssv has a diff upgrade to 3.8 and an extreme clutch that's pretty much it.
Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.

My uncle worked for holden so I'm looking at around 25% discount on the car so I'm pretty stoked about that.

Cheers guys

Congrats on the purchase!

My understanding from when I worked at Holden is only immediate family could get discounted cars, not nephews???

A 25% discount on a $50-60K car? Jesus, how much profit is in these things? And they still couldn't keep the doors open!

My understanding is they sell to employees at a significant loss, but do it as one of the perks for continuing to work for Holden.

What options are there?

Do Redlines come with Brembos , if not get them.

Thought mark up on car was 100% of cost, so it covers warranty etc, but maybe that's only imports.

There is a fair bit of kit in the Redline.

There aren't many options to choose from;
- full size spare
- rear wing (comes with lip spoiler)

not sure there is many more outside mudflaps etc...

Redlines come with Brembos on front. That was big selling point on VE. VF not so much.

Holden's profit on imports is SFA, which is why employee discount on them is much less and on Westpac Altitude Holden your points get you much less on imported cars, even allowing for the differences in RRP.

Eg even though you can spend more on a Colorado than a Commodore look at the difference in rebate.

He did it for a sister a few years ago so unless something has changed I should be sweet.
