I got that when I tried the post again (after getting the mashed up screen above)
but interestingly, I just checked and BOTH posts are on that thread this morning
strange happenings ... :)

That has happened to me using Win8/FF on and off (only very occasionally) for quite a few months, so much so that I now know it can cause duplicate posts so I save what I've written and cancel (leave page). If I then find my post isn't there I can try again but invariably it is there. :yup:
I only use Chrome these days and have never had an issue so give it a try.
yeah, chrome here, no probs.

Strange, as it didn't warn me posting on this page. I wonder if it is some sort of time out for the form?

Have also been increasingly getting this warning lately, plus it always used to take only one click on "Try Again" for success. Lately has often needed two or more retries for success. Don't know whether it's related to my pc or not (seems unlikely given the description) but I've never had it on any other forums. Again, just nuisance value.

No issue using IE 11 or the new Spartan browser. Can't comment on the other browsers.

I'm having the same problems, and guess what - in this thread it seems fine.
I gave up trying to post in the VC thread on my forum, but I could post a thanks.
Tried posting to the soldering iron forum, and no luck. Tried sending a PM and no luck, but it would let me send an email.
I can type a heading, but I can't type the story in the field if I am replying to a thread. The cursor won't appear in the description box, yet I can click on the icons. Either that, or it just sits there thinking.
If I get a post in and "Leave the Page" it double posts, so I have to stay on the page and when I leave much later it seems OK.
I thought I posted a Youtube video link last night - but it isn't there.
Now I have typed this message, hopefully it goes through and doesn't just sit there thinking.
I am using Explorer.
I went through Google though, and still had problems.
Do I have to remove Explorer to use Google???
Is it me, my computer, my software, or the forum???
It has been going on for months now, and makes it very time consuming and hard to use the forum.
If I am having problems, and others are having problems, then thousands may be having similar problems!!!
Cheers
Greg
