Hi there...just sharing some news that I have from a good source.

Adelaide plant has just done some new VF SS and SV6 Commodores. Slightly revised bodies and badging. I have it on very good authority that the SS and SSV will have the LS3 6.2 motor and an exhaust similar to the varex one. Meaning electronic valving with 3 stages of noise by the push of a button. The V8 noise will also be plumbed into the cockpit for you aural delight.
Also they will have bonnet vents and vents for cooling added in the front spoiler beside the driving lights. Other than that, new 20" wheels and wider tyres, and all including SV6 will have Brembo brakes package.

More info and pics when I get them.

Good to see the SV6 get a redline treatment, sort of.

VF is what, coming up to 2 years old now?

LS3 in a Holden, been through this before. Rumour after rumour..... Won't happen! Not for a mainstream version anyway,a limited edition maybe?

I threw this out there in a separate thread, last hurrah SS will have LS3. To be confirmed publicly but inside info gives this a definite thumbs up.

If it doesn't then I admit to being fooled big time

it would be nice if it was true, as said above its been covered a thousand times before. I don't see Holden doing anymore then usual, a few different badges, a new set of rims and a new "hero" colour.

Usually the motoring magazines and media would get even the slightest wind of this and publish the shite outta it but there has been nothing at all that i have seen.
