Do not do business with ultra performance components. I ordered a set of custom rotors, they sent me standard ones. Ok mistakes happen. But when i called to get the right ones, the old lady their blasted me for calling and told me not to call to distrub the owner. I was pissed off that i was spoken to like crap, but still persisted to contact upc to get the right rotors. So i emailed. The owner tony repled with, he wanted triple the price.i replied i wanted a refund because the price was ridiculous . He then told me i was an idiot and me and my club can go get stuffed. I hate writing bad reviews for bussineses, but just wanted to warn everyone what these guys were like. You do not run a business that you abuse your customers and do deliver on what they ordered.
They still have not refunded me.

Thats terrible!
I WAS 'watching' one of their brake kits on ebay (seller upc.online) with the intent to maybe buy later down the track as a cheaper option compared to Hoppers (for a Torana) but a few negative reviews in their feedback put me off and made me a bit hesitant to deal with them. Your post has definitely helped me to make up my mind not to buy from these people.
I have dealt with Hoppers in the past and although a couple of wrong items were sent they fixed the issue extremely quickly and were always great to deal with.
I hope it all works out for you, please keep us updated.
How did you pay for them Rob?

More info needed here. How much were the rotors recieved and also it would be cool for you to share screen shots of the transactions too, of course with your personal detail obscured. Otherwise this could just be taken as random slander which I doubt it is but still good to be constructive.

Some of their Ebay ads are good for a laugh though. You would think a brake specialist would know that VE V8's have bigger rotors than VE V6. Here they are advertising stock VE size rotors as massive track upgrade.

They don't mind abusing the buyers on eBay who have left negative feedback against them either .

Don't muck around with them, Fair Trading asap
Bet you put the icing on the cake as they've done this to shit load of people,
The only reason they are still trading is the case isn't big enough yet, add to it!
See how they go talking to Fair Trading like that?

Regardless of the cost of the rotors, when you cancel a order you get a full refund . That is standard business practice.

Update. Instead of refunding me fully. They are threatening to Sue me. Once again i gave them a option to refund me and i will retract my post. This thread is just to warn people what this business is like. Its not personal, but i am sick of businesses treating there customers like crap and getting away with it. I think i am not being unreasonable. I have given UPC multiples chances to refund me the full amount of my purchase, but they still refuse.

Can't say that is a surprise. Trying to scare you off. Has reached a point of no return with them. They know any avenue you take will cost you more money and sounds like they are betting that you can't be bothered and will just leave them be.

I sell spare parts over the counter and brakes and their components are one of the easiest to refund. If it isn't dirty and packaging is re usable with some tape easy done. Electrical is zero refunds and this is warned of at point of sale without fail as well as posted signs of electrical products strictly no returns policy. That's the law. Now if the electrical products are faulty we will happily submit them for warranty claim with receipt of course.
There is a no returns of a perfect product after 7 days policy as a lot of people juts don't get around to the job or go home and google the newly purchased part number and buy it for $7 cheaper off ebay....I'm not joking!
I think if your rotors meet these requirements of been un fitted and re usable packaging and they are incorrect and unusable they'd be insanely mad not to refund. If they are as advertised then it's a weird one.
Mind if I ask what was custom about your ordered rotors that you didn't get?

Im not sure if im believing what im seeing on my screen here... I work for UPC. We refunded you 100% for what you purchased mate, we also paid for the delivery to your door. Unfortunately it was your mistake that changed your mind that you didn't want them, then you decided you would send the rotors back to us which we refunded you fully. You are only out of pocket for the return costs mate, thats fair enough isn't it?
By the way, the way I was alerted to this forum and thread was from several phone calls from different members here and happy customers of ours letting me know what was going on.
I am utterly disappointed...

Firstly, thanks for joining & giving your side to this
but I am not 100% clear in what you are saying here...?
Are you saying he ordered the wrong thing in the first place when you say "Unfortunately it was your mistake that changed your mind" ?

You can tell a lot by a company by how they reply to their feedback on eBay.

I didn't have a problem with any of their replies on ebay
I think they were just telling their side of the story, replying to people who had said things bad about them defending themselves.
On ebay they don't get any second chance to have their say.
I have seen the genuine bad sellers that don't even care when someone bags them to explain their side to keep their name & reputation good
& this company has a very good positive feedback.
(Only 3 negative in the past year with hundreds of positive feedback is very good when they sell plenty of used & new car parts)
I would be absolutely 100% confident to buy from them from everything I have seen.

The original poster has gone quiet.
The original poster has gone quiet.
Whole thing reads like he expected them to pay for the return shipping as well, don't know of any company that offers that on returns...

Amazon does actually. It's rare though. If you want "free" returns you need to go to bricks n mortar and pay accordingly

Hi all,
New to this forum and was scanning a bit and came across this Thread. I had front and rear Callipers Rotors and Pads fitted by them at their factory. Great guys, the boss gave me a lift home, ( he was going my way ) rather than taxi.
When I came back they were just about done we had good conversations and customers were coming and going. One guy came in and said he was having trouble fitting the new calliper, one of the guys there went out back and came out with a calliper and showed him where he was going wrong. Everything was fine. I find it very difficult to see such a drastic change in attitude from what I witnessed at UPC to how robdwter was to have been treated.
