yes i am still runing his tunes it hasent had any up dates for a couple of years as im very happy with it compaird to other local shop ive seen ,
another guy that has a blowen L98 on 12 psi that i fitted a maggie to a few years ago is still happy with his work , all so he gets a tweak evey six months or so from oztrack ,belive me there are worse out there
when i got my first ute vy maloo i drove it to power torque in bris from cairns to get tuned ,all ways had a hot start isue and hit the limitor on down shift ,i dont dought if i had driven it all the way back they would have fixed it free
then i got the LS3 maloo and went back to P /T ? for want of a better opt , it was the first Ls3 they had done (3/08 build ) they had it for 3 days ? drove it home was ok till i loged it later on when i got the V2 it read lean and had Kr
they said bring it back (yer wright 2000, k round trip ) so got ostrack to do it remotely all good, then put cam in he did it remotely again allgood then i fitted the blower and fuel system and biger injectors done remotyely again i will admit it wasent wright the first time round the block ,there was a few driveabuility isuses witch he said there would be but just log it and send the log and he would fix it ,did take a lot of logs (50 or so, we all so had to change the ECU to an unlocked one PT locked it ,so it was one of the first to get a ECU changed back then ) but im supper fussey so any little thing i was unhappy with he would fix ,ute has done 30,000 + ks with blower on now ,no isuses so far drives nice ,goese well, starts first time after been parked for a month or more at a time ,so i cant knock the guy my friend with L98 has no isuses eather , the bigest pain with remote tuning is so much time and fuel loging and risking geting done for speeding ? but at the end of the day you get a better result drivabuility wise , i have had it on Hunters Dyno to check the AFR and timing and RWHP under full load a few times ,all fine acording Clif Hunter and what ive read
i have read some horror stores about ostrack ,(had a guy interested in bying till i said oztrack tuned it he couldent of the phone cuick enough HAHA ) and ive seen some blown engines from local tuners , im shure every tuner has some greanade engines to ther credit
would i use him again YES ,is he the best no , who is I dont know ??, it was convenant for me in a remote place with no options i was happy with (local )
hunters started to do tunes a couple of years ago but clif usis H /P so wasent any good for me un less i switched over to HP clif all said it would be wast of $$ as ther was nothing to be gained with a re tune
so im not saying use him, or not
i bet you some one will get back on here and bash ostrack ,they cant help them selves HAHA
