Hi,
Just wondering anybody here who has a VE/VF Commodore sedan or wagon, are you able to fit 2 baby seats in the rear and still have enough room for an adult in the middle?

Depends on said adult, and what kind of baby seats. But I do it all the time if we go up/down the coast and the mother in law wants to tag along - either the mrs or her sit in between my boys, in fact both have commented its more comfortable....

Cheers mate, good to know. At the moment tossing up between a brand new Hyundai Tucson or a used VF wagon.

.. yes is the answer in my experience
I have had 2 baby seats for 2 of the young grandkids and their mother in the middle in the back in the R8 Tourer
her only complaint was putting her feet either side of the trans tunnel.. seat space and the seat itself were comfy in her words
(and that was after a 3 hr trip up to the Murray)

Thanks for the info, leaning towards a VF wagon, good to know others have managed to fit 3 adults in comfort.

A used VF will also hold much better resale value in the future than a Tuscon IMHO.

VF would smoke the Tucson in terms of rear passenger room surely? Even rear cargo yes? You also wouldn't want anything less than the diesel or turbo petrol Tucson in my opinion.
Wait a month you could pick up VF series 1 a bit cheaper brand new.

Thanks for all the replies, just doing some research at the moment. Not in a huge hurry to buy yet and have a budget of around 30K.
Can fit two child seats and an average build adult in the middle quite comfortably in the back of a VE wagon.
Depending on age of children/what type of seats and frequency you want to carry 5 people, I believe you can also fit the child seats side by side so there is a side seat free.

I tried that seating arrangment but I found the 'seat in the middle' blocks too much of your rear vision when driving (an adults head not so much)
