After general consensus what tyre is a good replacement to 275/30 R20 Bridgestone, which are too expensive. The tyres that are my price range are the KU39, Contenental SP which buy 3 get 1 free, Nito Invo and the cheaper Nexan, the car is a road car pushing around 430 hp cam only. Ive only ever used Hankook , and Bridestone before Cheers

There's no real answer because everybody's priorities and preferences are different. Just do a search on a couple of tyre brands and you'll find plenty of reading eg. http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/search.php?searchid=1153958

Was going to get the KU39 from speaking to a local tyre power agent, they good value tyre. However further phone calls , can get 4 Continental ZR ContiSportContact 5P fitted for price of 3. These look a excellent tyre.

Some folks I've spoken to have said that the current HSV-spec Conti is a fantastic tyre however I can't see them being much cheaper than the factory Bridgies. Haven't looked into it though.
The last few sets I've had on the Senator in 275/35/19 were Maxxis MA-Z1 (ok grip, reasonable life, not too pricey), Nexen N7000 (cheap, hard compound, grip limited), Nitto NT-05 (cheap depending on retailer, soft, sticky, lasted 14k on hwy and were toast) and I currently have Nexen N8000 which are actually not too bad. Around $200ea and seem to grip up ok in most conditions. As an aside, I have the INVOs on as steer tyres at the moment. Feedback through the wheel isn't fantastic but they seem to grip pretty well. Not sure how long they'll last.

.. they are. The set on my R8 Clubsport Tourer have to rate as the best set of tyres...ex factory that have ever been one one of my cars.
grippy.. wet or dry with decent feedback, they have less tread squirm than the factory Bridgies and after 15,000 done in 9 months since I bought it
appear to have little wear .
tyres... like fuel is factored in when I buy a high performance vehicle because it just part of the cost of ownership. It will take a lot when the time comes
for me not to replace the Contis with another set of the same...
